Electronic car charging gives consumers time to shop
“A lot of people though we were crazy to offer [electronic car charging]for free, but we think it is crazy not to offer it for free right now,” in part because there are not that many chargers and they make MOM’s a destination, Egland-Smith said.
“Folks get out of their way to come to MOM’s to charge their car, grab a cup of free coffee from MOM’s and shop,” she said. She added that by offering mostly the slower level-two chargers, electric car owners have ample time to explore the store.
