What keeps you awake at night?
One of our biggest challenges and one that I see often in the natural products industry is scaling without diluting the integrity of our offerings. Temple Turmeric works with family farmers whose hand-harvested, organic Hawaiian turmeric is the highest quality and most compassionately grown turmeric on the planet. It is important for us to continue to support people that create beautiful ingredients that we can pass along to our consumers and the industry, while maintaining our presence in the growing beverage space.
What trends are you tracking?
The most relevant consumer need state today is inflammation management. Inflammation in the body is actually a protective response from our immune system to support and maintain balance within. When we have ongoing or excess inflammation it is because we are not maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Movement, mindfulness and balanced diet filled with nutrient rich vegetables, fruits, healthy fats and botanicals such as curcumin-rich turmeric help by supporting healthy inflammation responses.
